The coroner’s office is seeking the assistance of the public in determining the identity of the body of a man found dead in Balboa Park on Saturday. Deputy Coroner Douglas Haggin said the body, which was discovered in a canyon near Morley Field, is that of a man 20 to 30 years old. He is of medium build, has brown hair and a full beard and mustache. The name “Letticia” is tattooed on his chest. He and was clad only in jeans and tennis shoes. Haggin said the man died of a single gunshot wound to the head. Homicide detectives are investigating the death.
