El Cajon police seized lab equipment used for manufacturing drugs, gambling machines and $200,000 worth of methamphetamines at a Granite Hills residence over the weekend. Detectives found 13 pounds of the white powder commonly known as speed, and quantities of the drug in crystal form during a narcotics raid Friday, a Police Department spokesman said Monday. Booked on drug charges were Richard J. Drake, 41, of El Cajon and Patrick J. Barnwell, 36, of Alpine. Police said a third suspect, John H. Bearden, 28, of Lakeside was booked on possession of methamphetamines.
