Newport Beach : Cocaine Case Suspects to Be Arraigned Today

Four Orange County people who allegedly sold $21,000 worth of cocaine to undercover agents will be arraigned today in Harbor Municipal Court.
Newport Beach police said the suspects were arrested Monday night in a parking lot on Balboa Boulevard after they allegedly sold half a kilogram of cocaine to federal and state undercover narcotics agents.
Nabib G. Mourey, 24, and Hanna G. Mourey, 37, of Santa Ana and Edward D. Chapin, 21, and William E. Habib, , 24, of Garden Grove were arrested without incident. They were held in lieu of $25,000 bail each.
The arrests culminated a three-month investigation by state and federal agents, who were assisted by Newport Beach and Garden Grove officers, police said.
