The Bradbury City Council has appointed Bill Dillard to fill the remaining term of his wife, Mayor Gloria Kim Dillard, who died April 5 of cancer. Bill Dillard will serve residents of District 4 until the term expires in 1988. In the council’s reorganization, mayor pro tem was named mayor and John Alkana mayor pro tem. A city spokesman said a majority of residents in District 4 petitioned the council to appoint Dillard to his wife’s office. In other action, three planning commissioners whose terms had expired were reappointed. They are Bob Ullruch, District 1; Lew Pearce, District 3; and Beatrice La PistoKirtley, District 5.
