Running Red Lights Is Far Too Common in L.A.
What are Los Angeles drivers up to? As mentioned in Nichols’ letter, the number of offensive drivers are soaring and driving is turning out to be very hazardous.
It appears that we have to depend on other drivers’ courtesy rather than traffic lights to drive in our city. Even after receiving the green lights, we must look at both sides of the street to ensure no one is passing red lights, before we pull forward. It is very difficult to make left turns without jeopardy, because of these inconsiderate drivers who pass red lights. This causes avoidable accidents, which in turn ends up with unaffordable insurance premiums for innocent drivers.
When is something going to be done about this? When are L.A. drivers going to realize that “it is better to be late than the late”?
