Seven “television legends” have joined the Television Academy Hall of Fame, inducted in ceremonies that are the basis for a two-hour special airing Monday at 9 p.m. on NBC (4) (36) (39).

Selected by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for their lifetime contributions to television were Carol Burnett, Sid Ceasar, Joyce Hall, Rod Serling, Ed Sullivan, Sylvester L. (Pat) Weaver and Walter Cronkite.

Shown on the cover (from the left) are Cronkite, Mrs. Carol Sterling (Serling’s widow), Burnett, Mrs. Robert Precht (Sullivan’s daughter), Caesar, Weaver and Donald Hall (Hall’s Son).
