TV’s Wally George Hurt in Crash

Television talk show host Wally George suffered a broken nose and wrist, facial cuts and torn ligaments when the car he was driving was rear-ended by a car driven by a suspected drunk driver Monday evening on the transition road from the San Diego Freeway to the westbound Marina Freeway, authorities said today. A passenger in George’s car, television producer Merrie Pisano, suffered minor injuries.
California Highway Patrol investigators said that the other driver, Brian Blakelock, 22, of Los Angeles was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and booked for investigation of drunk driving.
