Airline Oxygen

This is an alert to a situation which might save your readers a great deal of pain and money. I had been all ready to depart on a Masonic tour of the Orient for 20 days. Then my doctor wanted me to have oxygen available above 6,000 feet (I have emphysema). When I tried to arrange for oxygen, China Airlines asked originally $1,400, or $200 for each of seven flights, but later would charge “only” $200 for the transpacific legs and $100 for the five shorter hops.

By way of comparison, Northwest Orient wanted $40 per plane. That quotation was from the U.S.A. to Taipei.
