Grading Started on 1,036-Lot Indio RV Park
Grading has begun on the 80-acre, 1,036-lot Rancho Casa Blanca recreational-vehicle development at 44th Avenue and Indio Center Drive in Indio. The first phase of the development by the Estes Co., Tucson, is scheduled to open in October with 250 individually-owned lots, an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse and recreational amenities, according to Robert E. Hartley Jr., managing partner.
“The lake and fountains of Rancho Casa Blanca’s recreational area will set it apart from the other RV resorts, offering an extension of the luxurious Palm Springs life style,” he added. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in 1990.
The Estes Co. has built residential projects in Arizona and shopping centers in Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Phoenix, and plans to build five RV resorts in Arizona and Southern California.
