Otis/Parsons Student Receives $1,200 Award

Margot Andrew, a student at Otis/Parsons School of Design, has received $1,200 for her winning mural design for the fourth floor foyer of the Maritime Bank Building, 10000 Santa Monica Blvd.

Fabrication of the 8-by-20-foot wall piece, combining reflective metal and neon lights in a series of overlapping geometric shapes, is scheduled to begin this month with a late summer installation. It will be the first thing seen by visitors to the offices of Rogers & Cowen, a public relations firm occupying most of the floor.
