CENTER RECEIVES $150,000 DONATION
The Security Pacific Foundation has given $150,000 to the Orange County Performing Arts Center--bringing the foundation’s total contribution to $500,000.
The latest pledge was announced by Richard Flamson III, chairman of the Security Pacific Corp. and a member of the Center’s fund-raising trustees panel. The foundation’s previous donation was $350,000, announced in 1982.
More than $62 million has been raised for the construction and endowment of the Center, now under construction in Costa Mesa. The complex is set to open in 1986.
