Year-Old Boy Drowns in Pool

CORONA — A year-old boy fell into a swimming pool and drowned Friday while his mother was napping, police said.
Robert Bruce Fink was inside his home when his mother fell asleep, said Lt. Bob Martin, but “when she woke up, the door to the pool area was open, and the baby and a teddy bear were floating in the pool.”
Police took Robert to Circle City Hospital in Corona, and he was later airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center. He was pronounced dead there.
