Reagan Paid His Dues in World War II

I quite agree with Lee’s letter (May 4) that after his arduous wartime duties making training films, Reagan’s career “never took off again” while those of James Stewart, Clark Gable, William Holden and Robert Taylor did. They, of course, were good actors. How fervently I have often wished, particularly since 1980, that Reagan was as good an actor on screen as he is off!
