GM may not pick a Saturn factory site till summer.

“We’re not at the point where we could narrow it down to six or 16 states,” GM spokesman Stan Hall said. “Right now, we can’t estimate with any accuracy when it will be.” Vice President Donald Ephlin of the United Auto Workers, a partner in the Saturn project, said that no pact has been reached covering workers at the complex and that lack of an agreement has been a factor in the auto maker’s delay in announcing the site.
