Zaire President Seeks Aid in Visit to Israel

TEL AVIV — President Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, one of Israel’s few friends in black Africa, arrived Sunday for a six-day visit focusing on aid to his country.
Mobutu, who renewed his country’s ties with Israel in 1982, will meet with President Chaim Herzog, Prime Minister Shimon Peres and Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir.
