Your informative April 21 article on Okinawa did not mention the very delightful Pacific Hotel close to Naha Harbor where one can jog along the sea wall. The rooms are very comfortable, with complimentary hot tea, toothbrush and yukata. Buffet dinner is very nice where one can eat all you want for $8, including beverage and dessert.

Atop the hotel is a bar with a commanding view of Naha Harbor comparable to that of the Top of the Mark in San Francisco. Nearby is a gourmet Cantonese restaurant whose cuisine is incomparable. Across the street is an all-night supermarket where one can snack on mochi , sushi and whatever. Pacific Hotel costs roughly $50 a night for two.
