Truck Kills Boy, 4, Rummaging for Food
A 4-year-old Santa Ana boy was run over and killed by a delivery truck Monday while rummaging for food with his parents behind a market, Santa Ana police said.
The boy, Juan Alberto Muniz, was with his parents, Juan and Raquel Muniz of Santa Ana, when they apparently lost sight of him behind Albertson’s Market, 1710 East 17th St., police said.
They had been searching trash bins for food, police said. The truck’s driver was not held.
