Heroin Overdoses Kill 3, Injure 6 in Washington

WASHINGTON —
An outbreak of heroin overdoses--the second to hit the nation’s capital this year--killed three persons and sent six others to hospitals in a 24-hour period, police said Tuesday. Investigators could find no common denominator in the overdoses.
