Funeral Set for Veteran Journalist E. F. O’Connor Jr.
A funeral service for veteran journalist Edward F. O’Connor Jr. will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills at 3 p.m. Friday. O’Connor, who held writing and editing positions on newspapers ranging from the old Los Angeles Daily News to United Press International and the Beverly Hills Courier, died Friday in a Hollywood hospital at age 54 of a heart attack following surgery.
