Killer Solicited Murder--Inmate

The convicted killer of four relatives of former football star Kermit Alexander offered $15,000 to another jail inmate to kill his prosecutor and two witnesses, the inmate testified today.
The inmate, Philip Lowden, said Horace Burns, 20, also asked him to kill several of the jurors who convicted him last month, Lowden testified at the penalty phase of Burns’ trial. Lowden, in jail for petty theft, said he turned down Burns’ offer, then told authorities.
