U.S. Accelerates Arms Supplies to Costa Rica

WASHINGTON —
The United States has agreed to accelerate the supply of arms ordered by Costa Rica, the State Department said Friday.
Costa Rica said earlier this week that it asked for a speedup in deliveries after border clashes with Nicaraguan forces. Press reports have said the arms in question include M-60 and M-90 machine guns.
