A 17-year-old Santa Monica girl was killed while traveling in a stolen car that crashed after a two-mile chase with police, authorities said. Yolanda Martinez died and two companions were injured when their car hit a building on Ocean Avenue, police said. Officer Anita McKeoun, 23, reportedly suffered numerous bruises after crashing into an adjacent concrete wall. Police said that a 17-year-old Santa Monica resident was booked for investigation of homicide and auto theft.
