‘Craze for Lawsuits’
Conine succinctly explains the effects on society of our litigious atmosphere. He even gives solutions. I feel a good way to help correct this ubiquitous oppression is by legislation.
Unfortunately, this presents a monstrous roadblock. Most of our Sacramento representatives are lawyers who are still active in their suit-prone firms. Laws to curb litigation activities would put a dent in their pockets and this would be too contrary to their livelihood.
