Sacramento : San Diegan to Be Lottery Official
The state lottery director Friday named a San Diego public relations man to head the games’ public information program.
Lottery Director M. Mark Michalko announced that William J. Seaton will be director of public affairs.
Seaton, 56, has been public relations director for Sea World Inc. and the San Diego Zoo for the past 20 years. Before that he was public relations director for a San Diego advertising agency.
His salary will be $59,675.
Michalko also named Jamie Bailey as deputy director for game operations and Llewellis Ritter as deputy director for security.
Bailey, 39, has been assistant director for sales and marketing for the Washington state lottery since 1982. Her salary will be $59,675.
Ritter, 49, is a deputy chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, specializing in computer security. His salary will be $58,404.
