Monterey Park
The City Council has awarded contracts to Gentry Brothers Inc. of Irwindale to rebuild W. Riggin Avenue from Gerhart Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard for $111,098 and to Sully-Miller Contracting Co. of Long Beach to resurface Garvey Avenue between Atlantic and Ramona boulevards and Lincoln and New avenues for $274,250. Both projects are scheduled to start within a month and be completed in 30 days.
