The Long Beach condominium community of Newport Heights opens today at 1100 Newport Ave. with a total of 33 one- and two-bedroom, two-bath units.

A project of Guy Gagnon Construction Inc. of Long Beach, the development features Cape Cod exteriors, private patios or sun decks, gas fireplaces and common amenities that include a spa and park-like landscaping.

Units are priced from $69,500 to $112,000 with living space ranging in size from 706 to 1,110 square feet. Some units have vaulted ceilings, skylights and dual master suites.

The sales office and three decorated models are open daily from noon to 6 p.m. Immediate occupancy is available.
