TraveLodge International reported an 11.2% drop in earnings, to $1.8 million, for the second quarter ended April 30. Sales rose 5.7% to $25.8 million. Net income for the six months fell 5.9% to $2.5 million, while sales increased 9.4% to $49.5 million.

Langley Corp. reported that net income fell 75% to $34,300 for the second quarter ended April 30. Sales rose 2% to $2.1 million. Officials linked the income drop to costs associated with “beginning work on a number of new contracts.”

Officials at National Bank of Fairbanks Ranch, which completed its first full quarter of operations on March 31 with an $87,000 loss, said they expect the bank to be profitable by the fourth quarter of this year.

Southwest Bancorp reported income of $346,000 for the first quarter ended March 31, a 15% increase from a year earlier.

Synbiotics Corp. reported revenues that grew 16% to $916,701 for the fiscal year ended March 31 and a net loss of $849,525 that compared with an $83,080 loss a year earlier. President Edward T. Maggio linked the losses, in part, to increased research and development costs.

Price Co. reported a third-quarter sales increase of 58% to $445.8 million over the same quarter a year earlier. Net income increased 67% to $10 million. Company officials said sales at Price Clubs that were operating during the same period last year increased 21%.

Western Health Plans said revenues increased by 39% to $18.9 million during the quarter ended March 31. Income grew by 42% to $2.3 million. President and Chief Executive James G. Stumpfel linked the increases to a 25% growth in enrollments.

Decom Systems said net income fell 83% to $28,000 during the quarter ended March 29 over the same quarter a year ago. Sales grew 16% to $3.1 million.
