San Diego
Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman in connection with a fatal stabbing Sunday in Southeast San Diego.
The stabbing occurred during an argument between Berthena Cottingham and Ronald Edwards, 30, both of the 800 block of Raven Street, authorities said. Edwards, who received a single stab wound to the chest, was rushed to Mercy Hospital, where he died during surgery.
Cottingham is being held at the County Jail at Las Colinas pending further investigation. Police said Cottingham will be arraigned later in the week.
