West Covina
The West Covina City Council has voted unanimously to waive competitive bidding on Police Department requests to purchase undercover surveillance equipment for the department’s Special Enforcement Team and automatic weapons designed for SWAT operations.
The Police Department is seeking to purchase Heckler & Kock 9-millimeter automatic handguns at a cost not to exceed $11,000, and Fargo Co. F-2 Stealth System surveillance equipment at a cost not to exceed $8,500.
