A resounding BOO! to Kathleen Rogers for her epistolary temper tantrum against the writers of letters published in Calendar (Calendar Letters, July 7). Talk about sniveling complaints, unworthy names, and crybabies! Talk about opining and pontificating!

And a hearty YEA! to Calendar for providing its readers (including Kathleen) a forum for their reactions to what has been written about “the business of arts and entertainment.”

The Letters Page accommodates more than letters to the editor. It’s an ongoing readers’ dialogue in which anyone can agree or disagree not only with the articles but also with other readers. It’s a unique, community-spirited, round table.

In any case, I suspect Rogers has already used up her supply of 50-cent words, so I don’t think we’ll be hearing from her again. (There, isn’t this fun?)
