‘Exotic’ Shanghai

I read “Footloose in Shanghai--Some Tips for Visiting Exotic City” (June 23). I visited Shanghai last year and I believe that by no stretch of the imagination could it be called exotic. Interesting, yes, but exotic, no, as for the most part Shanghai is made up of drab, dark-gray concrete buildings.
