Architect Jerde to Discuss New Westside Pavilion

Architect Jon Jerde will speak on the design and planning of the Westside Pavilion, a new shopping complex at Pico and Westside boulevards, at the Thursday meeting of the Institute of Store Planners’ Los Angeles chapter.
Jerde was also responsible for architecture and design at the 1984 Summer Olympics here.
The meeting will be at the Velvet Turtle restaurant, 2255 Sawtelle Blvd., West Los Angeles. Cocktails and dinner are scheduled from 6 to 7:15 p.m., with Jerde’s speech followed by a tour of the Westside Pavilion led by Jerde and his staff planned for 7:15 to 9:30.
