Cambria Coverage

We have admired Cambria for years, and friend Jerry Hulse captured the sense of it well in his colorful front-page story. We finally moved here six months ago. It is a great small town.

We are sorry that Hulse didn’t have the opportunity to mention a couple more of Cambria’s special sites. One is Sharon Lovejoy’s Heart’s Ease, a delightful herb shop where you’ll also find items of early Americana that Miss Lovejoy has gathered during annual shopping tours across the rural United States. And we have found the Hamlet in Moonstone Gardens to be, possibly, the finest restaurant between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Hamlets, formerly of Los Angeles, also have, adjacent to the restaurant, an incredible rare plant garden. It alone is worth the drive from the Southland.
