Gulton Industries Acquires Altec Corp.

PRINCETON, N.J. — Gulton Industries Inc. said it acquired the business and assets of Altec Corp., an Oklahoma City-based maker of professional audio products, for $8 million.

Gulton said it will operate Altec as a wholly owned subsidiary to be called Altec Lansing Corp.
