Jazz singer Sarah Vaughan will be honored with a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in ceremonies starting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Vaughan, whose career began as a singer with pianist Earl (Fatha) Hines’ jazz band, will be awarded the Walk of Fame’s 1,808th star at 6834 Hollywood Blvd, between stars previously dedicated to pianist Jose Iturbi and actor Danny Kaye.
