Police Arrest 3 in Corona Area

Police arrested three people on suspicion of possessing stolen property and cited several others for minor drug offenses in two Thursday morning raids in Corona and neighboring Home Gardens, a Riverside County sheriff’s spokeswoman said.

Officers from three police agencies made the arrests after receiving a tip that property stolen in Yucaipa, San Bernardino County, had been seen at a Home Gardens apartment and in the possession of people living in a central Corona house, Deputy Debra Wilson said.

Corona police officers and sheriffs’ deputies from Riverside and San Bernardino counties found property stolen in the Yucaipa burglary--and in another burglary in Home Gardens--at the apartment on Moody Street in Home Gardens, an unincorporated area of Riverside County between the cities of Corona and Riverside.

Three residents of the Moody Street apartment were arrested, Wilson said. They were: Archie Yates, 27, booked on suspicion of burglary, and Clovis Duane Neeley, 22, and Sandra Neeley, 24, both booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property. No estimate of the value of the stolen goods recovered was available.

At the house on Sheridan Street in central Corona, officers found no stolen property, but cited several people for possession of marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia, Wilson said.
