San Diego Man Stabbed to Death
A 38-year-old San Diego man died of a stab wound to the chest Sunday and a suspect was booked into County Jail on suspicion of murder, San Diego police reported.
According to witnesses, Milton Elmo Pollard was stabbed during an argument with another man in a yard in the 200 block of 30th Street at about 11:15 a.m.
Pollard was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he died at 12:27 p.m., coroner’s deputies said.
Jessie Leroy Turks, 37, was arrested near his residence on Clay Avenue Sunday afternoon. A knife was recovered at the arrest scene and Turks was held without bail.
