Egypt Won’t Accept Freed Palestinians

CAIRO —
Egypt has turned down a Red Cross request to take some of about 1,000 Palestinians released from Israeli prisons last month, the Foreign Ministry said today.
The request was made by the International Red Cross representative in Cairo to Taher Farnawani, Foreign Ministry director of Palestinian affairs.
