Long Beach

The Long Beach Unified School District has announced a reshuffling of school administrators for the fall that will result in new principals at four high schools. Taking the helm at Poly High School will be Wayne Piercy, formerly principal of Franklin Junior High School. He will be replacing Bob Ellis, who will be moving to Jordan High. Jordan Principal Jack DuBois will be taking over at Wilson High, replacing Edward Eveland. Eveland will be filling a vacancy at Millikan High created by the retirement of Principal Joseph McCleary. Piercy's job at Franklin will be filled by Gail Sanders, formerly assistant principal at Lakewood High School.
