Blue Jays Keep Ties With Syracuse Team

TORONTO —
The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have renewed their working agreement with Syracuse Chiefs of the International League for 1986 through 1988 with an option for the 1989 baseball season.
The Blue Jays, leaders of the American League West, had been rumored shifting their top minor league farm club operation to Winnipeg from Syracuse, N.Y., where the two clubs have had a working arrangement since 1978.
