Liz Taylor Visits Rock Hudson

Actress Elizabeth Taylor visited longtime friend Rock Hudson at the UCLA Medical Center, where the actor is being treated for AIDS, a hospital spokesman said today.

Taylor, who is one of the organizers of a star-studded extravaganza planned for next month to raise money for research into acquired immune deficiency syndrome, met with the stricken actor on Sunday. “Mr. Hudson is gaining strength and is in good spirits, however his condition remains fair,” said a statement released today.
