Copter Crash Kills GI

WASHINGTON —
An American pilot was killed Tuesday when his U.S. Army helicopter crashed 30 miles west of Cairo during U.S.-Egyptian military exercises, the Defense Department said. An Egyptian military observer aboard the AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter was injured. The Pentagon said the cause of the crash has not been determined.
