Becker Beaten in 28 Minutes

KITZBUEHEL, Austria —
West German tennis star Boris Becker, this year’s Wimbledon champion, was trounced in straight sets today by Uruguay’s Diego Perez in first-round play at the Head Cup tennis tournament. Perez, 23, breezed past the 17-year-old Becker, the top seed in the competition, 6-3, 6-1 in an astounding 28 minutes.
