San Clemente Man Is Found Dead in Surf Near Pier
A San Clemente man was found dead in the surf at San Clemente Beach early Thursday, a police spokesman said.
The body of Peter Kelvin Mizeur, 27, was discovered by passers-by at 12:20 a.m. about 500 yards north of the municipal pier, a police spokesman said.
Mizeur was wearing swim trunks, a gold serpentine neck chain and a diamond ring. A set of keys and $15 in cash were in his pockets, police investigators said.
A coroner’s spokesman said an autopsy to determine the cause of death was pending.
