Woman Leaps to Her Death: A 55-year-old Tustin woman jumped to her death early Sunday morning from the 4th Street overpass of Interstate 5 in Santa Ana, police said. The woman’s name was not released pending notification of relatives. Santa Ana Police Lt. Jack Nelson said witnesses told police they saw the woman “casually walking across the bridge with a drink in her hand” about 3 a.m. The woman walked to the rail, put her drink on it, climbed over and leaped into the southbound lane of traffic, Nelson said. He said she was struck by three or four cars and died at the scene.
