Grenade Kills Two at Embassy

GUATEMALA CITY —
A hand grenade exploded at the Mexican Embassy in Guatemala City this morning, killing two Guatemalan employees, a police spokesman said.
Police spokesman Mario Ramirez Ruiz said a messenger and a gardener were killed. He said investigators believe that the grenade went off by accident but did not explain how the grenade came to be on embassy grounds. No group has claimed responsibility.
