Billie Sol Estes Seized in Sexual Assault Case

ABILENE, Tex. —
Convicted swindler Billie Sol Estes was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexually assaulting his housekeeper, police said.
Estes, 60, was arrested at his federal probation officer’s office in connection with the alleged July 26 sexual assault, an Abilene police detective, Greg Knight, said. The three-week lapse may have stemmed from the Mexican woman’s inability to speak English, Knight said.
Estes posted a $10,000 bond and was released.
