The Buffalo Bills traded reserve quarterback Matt Kofler, who played at San Diego State, to the Indianapolis Colts for an undisclosed draft choice.
Kofler, with the Bills for three seasons, had been in a training-camp battle with three other quarterbacks for a spot on the 1985 roster.
