FBI agents are looking for a well-dressed transient who they believe has committed bank robberies in 14 cities from San Diego to Red Bluff since March. The suspect, identified as Victor Statkus, is between 30 and 40 years old and is always well dressed in a suit or casual clothes. He sometimes carries a briefcase and always produces a gun, said FBI spokeswoman Karen Alexander. She said Statkus is suspected of robbing banks in San Diego, Carmel, San Francisco, Modesto, San Jose, Berkeley, Sacramento, Chico, Santa Rosa, Los Gatos, Walnut Creek, Red Bluff, Stockton and Auburn.
