Gregory Leach, 38, knows what it’s like to be 76 years old since he acted that role for a year on stage, so when a number of senior citizens wanted to know more about the theater and acting, he was their man. “Our whole society is centered on the idea that when you get old you get useless,” said Leach, a glazier by trade and both a student and instructor at Cal State Fullerton. “That feeling is one of our greatest tragedies.” Leach will teach the drama workshops at Buena Park Senior Center and at the adult education office at Cypress College starting Sept. 18.
